NDA Eligibility Criteria 2024

The National Defence Academy (NDA) has rules set by the UPSC to join. These rules cover things like age, education, nationality, and being physically fit. Being fit is important, and it means meeting standards for height, weight, chest size, and eyesight. To join the NDA, aspirants need to be between 16.5 and 19.5 years old on certain dates. NDA 2024 Eligibility Criteria Nationality

According to the UPSC NDA notification 2024, applicants must be Indian citizens to apply for the NDA exam 2024.

Eligibility for the NDA exam is also extended to individuals who fall under any of the following categories as prescribed by the Commission:
Citizens of Nepal
Citizens of Bhutan
People of Indian origin who migrated from Zaire, Ethiopia, East African Countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Uganda, Burma, Pakistan, Zambia, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam to settle in India
Tibetan refugees who came to India and settled before January 1, 1962.

NDA 2024 Eligibility Criteria Age Limit

Only unmarried male and female candidates born between July 2, 2005, and July 1, 2008, are eligible for the exam.

The date of birth accepted by the commission must be as indicated in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate, or an equivalent document.

NDA 2024 Eligibility Criteria Physics Standards
