CBSE Class 10 Latest Updates

From 2025-26, CBSE is bringing a new rule for Class 10 board exams. Under this system, students will get two chances to write their board exams, once in February and again in April or May. Whichever score is higher will be counted in the final result. This change is made to help students feel less pressure and do better in exams.

  1. Two Chances: Students can write the exam two times and keep the better score.

  2. Exam Timing: The first exam will happen in February and the second in April or May.

  3. Less Stress: This system is made to reduce exam tension and give students more time and choice.

  4. Based on NEP 2020: The rule follows the National Education Policy that supports less exam pressure.

  5. Internal Marks: Schools will continue with regular internal tests as before.

  6. Same Centres: Students will go to the same exam centre for both attempts.
