For the academic year 2025–26, CBSE has updated the Class 10 Hindi Course A syllabus by removing a few chapters. The changes have been made in क्षितिज भाग–2 and कृतिका भाग–2.

From Kshitij Part 2, the following chapters have been deleted:

• देव – सवैया, कवित्त (Dev – Sawaiya, Kavitt)

• गिरिजा कुमार माथुर – छमा मत छूना (Girija Kumar Mathur – Chhama Mat Chhoona)

• ऋतुराज – कन्यादान (Rituraj – Kanyadan)

From the Prose Section of Kshitij Part 2, the removed chapters are:

• महावीर प्रसाद द्विवेदी – स्त्री-शिक्षा के विरोधी कुतर्कों का खंडन (Mahavir Prasad Dwivedi – Stree-Shiksha Ke Virodhi Kutarkon Ka Khandan)

• सर्वेश्वर दयाल सक्सेना – मानवीय करुणा की दिव्य चमक (Sarveshwar Dayal Saxena – Manaviya Karuna Ki Divya Chamak)

From Kritika Part 2, the deleted lesson names are:

• एही ठैयाँ झुलनी हेरानी हो रामा! (Ehi Thaiyan Jhulni Herani Ho Rama!)

• जॉर्ज पंचम की नाक (George Pancham Ki Naak)

Questions from these chapters will not be asked in the Class 10 Hindi A board exam for the 2025–26 session.

For the 2025–26 session, CBSE has made a few changes in the syllabus of Hindi Class 10 for course B. Some chapters have been removed from the book स्पर्श भाग–2 (Sparsh Part 2). These include:

• मबहारी-दोहे (Mahari Dohas)

• महादेवी वर्मा: मधुर-मधुर मेरे दीपक जल (Madhur-Madhur Mere Deepak Jal)

• अंतोन चेखव – मगरमच्छ (Magarmachh)

No questions will be asked from these chapters in the board examination. For the second book, संचयन भाग–2 (Sanchayan Part 2), there are no changes as per the CBSE Class 10 Hindi B Syllabus. All chapters from this book will be part of your exam syllabus.
